Things to know
- Who it’s forSuitable for all ages: babies, children and older adults ride seated in the cabin, with no physical effort, and minors always go with an adult. Children ages 0 to 4 don’t pay (they take up a spot). You don’t need to know how to swim: snorkeling at El Palito is optional and done with a life vest. If you get seasick easily on boats, take a motion sickness pill about 30 minutes before setting sail.
- What to bringSwimsuit on under comfortable clothes, and a towel for the stop at El Palito. Camera or phone with the battery at 100% and a waterproof case. Cash for the port tax ($5,000 COP per person). A motion sickness pill, if you’re sensitive to the movement of boats.
- Paying the balanceYou pay the balance to the operator at the dock on the day of the tour: in cash, by bank transfer or by card, whichever you prefer.
- Port taxSeparately from the balance, the port tax is paid at the dock: $5,000 COP per person, in cash, before departure. Children ages 0 to 4 don’t pay it.
- If the weather prevents sailingIf DIMAR (the Port Authority) closes operations that day because of the weather, we let you know right away and reschedule your departure at no cost or refund 100% of your deposit.
