How the deposit and the balance work
On Exploria you don’t pay everything up front. Each experience sets a deposit that secures your spot; you pay the remaining balance on the day of the tour, on site, directly to the partner operator who runs the activity.
How your payment is split
- The deposit secures your spot on the date and at the time you chose, and it’s the income that lets Exploria run the platform and support you.
- The local operator receives the balance on the day of the activity — so the money for the experience goes straight to the people who provide it.
- You ALWAYS see the exact breakdown (deposit, balance and total) in the summary before you confirm, and the charge is made in Colombian pesos. No surprises.
Where and how you pay
You pay the deposit online, securely, when you book; if you’d rather be helped by a person, an advisor handles it with you on WhatsApp. The balance is always paid on site on the day of the tour.
