Your spot is held for 20 minutes
When you open Confirm and pay, your spots are held for 20 minutes. That’s the time we give you to complete your details and the payment calmly, without anyone else taking your place in the meantime.
How the hold works
- In Confirm and pay you’ll see the countdown with the time remaining and your booking code: “We’re holding your spot for 19:45 minutes.” Reloading the page doesn’t reset the countdown.
- When you tap Pay, the clock resets: you have 20 minutes to complete the payment on Wompi.
- Your booking is final once the deposit payment is approved: that’s when you get the confirmation by email. If you book with an advisor, it’s final when they confirm the payment.
- In the meantime, your booking shows up in Trips as “Deposit still to be paid”, with the button to pay.
What if my time runs out?
Don’t worry: tap “Hold it again” (or “Pay” from Trips) and, if the departure still has spots, they’re held for another 20 minutes. And if you were already talking to an advisor, continue the conversation on WhatsApp: the team will help you pick up the booking.
