Our marketplace model
Exploria works like the world’s big experience marketplaces: we connect travelers with verified local operators. We’re not the ones driving the boat or guiding the hike (the partner operator does that); we’re the platform that makes the booking possible and backs it.
Who is responsible for what
- Exploria is responsible for the platform: verifying the operators, clear information, managing the booking and the deposit, and support before, during and after.
- The partner operator is responsible for delivering the activity: the boat trip, the guiding, the transport and the equipment.
- If something doesn’t go as promised, we help you find a solution within each experience’s conditions.
An obligation of means, not of results
As an intermediary, ours is an obligation of means: we commit to managing your booking diligently and to backing you, but we can’t guarantee things that depend on third parties or the environment, such as the weather or the closure of a tourist site. The details are in the Terms and conditions.
