How ratings and reviews work
Exploria’s reviews are verified: only someone who booked and paid for an experience with Exploria (on the site or on WhatsApp with your travel planner) can rate it, and only after experiencing it. That way, what you read comes from real travelers.
Who can rate
- Anyone who booked and paid for the experience with Exploria — on the site, or on WhatsApp, by phone or in person with your travel planner — from the day after the tour and up to 60 days later.
- Once per trip: if you do the experience again on another date, you can rate that trip too.
- The day after the tour you’ll get an email with your trip’s personal link (or your travel planner sends it to you on WhatsApp). It works without logging in and is only for that trip. You can also rate from Trips: tap the stars under “How was your experience…?” or open the trip.
- Did you travel with Exploria in the last 12 months and don’t have your trip’s link (for example, because you booked on WhatsApp)? Rate your trip at exploriia.com/en/calificar: you choose the experience and the month of your trip and leave us your name and mobile number. Your review is published once we confirm that you traveled with us, with the label “Traveled with Exploria” and the month of the trip. The verification only confirms that you traveled with Exploria: it doesn’t depend on what you write or on your stars. Your mobile number is never published, and we delete it once your review is verified.
How they’re published
- It’s 6 quick questions, one per screen: 1 to 5 stars for the experience overall and for the meeting point, the host, whether it was as we described it and whether it was worth what you paid; at the end, if you want, you write your review (up to 1,000 characters). With “Save and exit” you can finish it whenever you like.
- It’s published automatically (if it comes from exploriia.com/en/calificar, once we confirm your trip), with your first name, your overall stars, your text and the city you enter. The ratings for each aspect help the agency look after the quality of each operator. We don’t edit reviews or choose which ones to show.
- The overall rating is the average of all ratings. It appears once the experience has at least 3; until then it shows as “New”.
Review rules
- Talk about your experience: the tour, the operator, the meeting point, the service.
- No offensive or discriminatory language, no personal data (phone numbers, emails, ID documents) and no advertising.
- We only remove reviews that break these rules; honest criticism stays, even when it’s negative.
See a review that breaks the rules? Write to us and we’ll look into it.
