If Exploria or the operator cancels your experience

Sometimes an experience can’t go ahead for reasons that have nothing to do with you: bad weather, closures of tourist sites, mechanical failures, decisions by the authorities, or because a group departure didn’t reach its minimum number of participants. In those cases, Exploria or the operator may change or cancel the activity, and one simple rule applies: you don’t lose your money.

What we offer you, case by case

  • Force majeure (weather, closures, failures, authority decisions): we arrange with the operator an equivalent alternative, a rescheduled activity or a credit for another date.
  • DIMAR closure: if DIMAR (the Port Authority) closes operations due to the weather, for any activity you choose between rescheduling at no cost and getting a 100% refund of the deposit.
  • Minimum group not reached: if a group experience doesn’t get the minimum number of participants, you can reschedule or get your money back within a maximum of 72 business hours.
  • Specific guarantees: some experiences list additional guarantees on their page (for example, for weather). When conditions differ, whichever is more favorable to you as a consumer always applies.

Any refunds that apply are processed within 30 calendar days of the request, to the same payment method you used. The full details are in the Cancellation policy.
